MSAP 2014 Scholarship of Academic Excellence
Award Purpose
The mission of MSAP is: “To make available educational opportunities for San Andres Archipelago disadvantaged youth that they may achieve lifelong success and promote our native cultural values.”

Award Components
One applicant will be selected as the recipient of the MSAP annual scholarship. This recipient will be required to maintain a 3.5 GPA, and submit documentation in order to continue to receive up to $1000 (US) in financial aid through the completion of his/her approved education program, as those funds are available. If funds are not available as determine by the organization, then the scholarship will no longer be granted.

Award Impact
MSAP scholarship award aims to provide a recipient with the financial help that will contribute to his/her preparation in acquiring those skills required to successfully enter a professional field. Our purpose is that these skills will eventually be used in the Archipelago to benefit the Island native community.

Deadline
The deadline to submit the MSAP application is January 31, 2014. Applications after this date will not be considered. Nor will incomplete applications will be considered.

Announcement of Scholarship Recipients
The scholarship recipients will be announced on April 30, 2014.

Special Provision
Scholarship funds will be issued directly to the recipient’s campus account; i.e., not directly to the recipient.
